Unser Internetprojekt sammelt, wie ein Lexikon, Informationen über alle jüdischen DP-Camps und Communities in Bayern nach 1945. Sie können nach Städten oder Gemeinden suchen. Falls eine solche Einrichtung nachweisbar ist, wird Ihnen - soweit möglich - ein Foto der Einrichtung gezeigt, Sie erhalten die Adresse, Informationen über die Anzahl der Mitglieder sowie die Dauer der Existenz.

Das Projekt wird ständig ergänzt und erweitert. Sie können uns dabei unterstützen: Falls Sie Bilder oder Informationen dazu haben, nehmen Sie mit uns Kontakt auf.

Our website, in the manner of an encyclopedia, provides information on all the Jewish DP (displaced persons) camps and communities in Bavaria after 1945. Typing in the name of a city or town in the search box enables the user to retrieve information on whether there was a Jewish camp or community there; if so, an image of the facility - if possible, its address, the number of members or inhabitants and the length of its existence are provided.

Therefore we need your help: We are interested in archival material (documents, images, etc.) from all Jewish displaced persons camps and communities in Germany.
